ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Mandi began her career in Ballroom Dancing in 2006 in Phoenix, AZ for the biggest  ballroom dance organization worldwide.  In that time she received multiple top teacher and top studio executive awards, as well as having the privilege of training and mentoring many top teachers along their journeys. One of her biggest accomplishments during this time was helping to open and grow top studios in both Arizona and California.

In 2016, Mandi suffered a series of near fatal blood clots in her abdomen and left leg, resulting in the near amputation of her leg, and causing many other life-long health complications, from what the doctors called a mystery with no apparent cause.   Healing from that ordeal allowed for a shift to occur inside of Mandi, and ultimately paved the way for Living Joy Healing Arts to come to fruition.

In 2019 she began practicing Yoga and immediately found the results to be profound.  She attended Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 2020 and completed her yoga teacher training (RYT 200) and reiki certification.  While at SWIHA she also took courses in Trauma Sensitive Yoga teaching, Somatic Psychology, Hypnotherapy, Chakra Balancing, Holistic Nutrition, and more.

In 2022 she created Living Joy Healing Arts LLC, as a way to share what she had learned along her journey with as many people as possible. She lives what she teaches and believes in the healing power we each possess inside of us.  Her philosophy is to teach with kindness, intuition, and expertise.
